SUMMARY:Finding Experts\, Journals and Building Impact Narratives with SciVal
DESCRIPTION:Are you an experienced SciVal user? Join us to learn how to 
 identify experts\, understand publishing patterns\, and transform analysis 
 into clear outputs for reports\, funding discussions and strategic 
 storytelling.\n\nThis workshop will feature example use cases to better 
 understand how to use SciVal\, including looking for experts\; identifying 
 appropriate journals for a research project and working group\; monitoring 
 publishing trends by research area and departments\; demonstrating policy 
 impact in environmental and social research\; and innovation and 
 commercialization in life sciences\n\nBy the end of this workshop\, 
 participants will be able to:  \n\n\n	Identify experts\, collaborators and 
 publishing partners.\n	Evaluate journal suitability using topic and 
 publication metrics.\n	Build evidence-based impact narratives for 
 communication or funding contexts. \n	Export SciVal outputs to support 
 reports and strategic storytelling.\n\n\nMust be a Waterloo student\, staff 
 or faculty member to attend. This session is best for those with prior 
 SciVal experience. Please bring a laptop to participate in the 
 activities.\n\nThis in-person workshop has limited capacity\; please 
 register to reserve your seat. If you have accommodation requests or
