SUMMARY:SciVal Refresh & Practice for Novice Users
DESCRIPTION:Are you a novice SciVal user and want to skip the more formal 
 introduction and dive right into using it? This is the session for you! 
 Participants will work through quick and practical introductions to common 
 use cases with an emphasis on simple\, repeatable workflows.\n\nExplore 
 collaboration patterns\, navigating between different entity types\, and 
 understanding how custom entities and publication sets can be used to 
 represent research groups or themes.\n\nThis is a hands-on workshop where 
 attendees will be working through small\, practical tasks with facilitators 
 circulating to provide support and answer questions.\n\nBy the end of this 
 workshop\, participants will be able to:  \n\n\n	Create and modify entities 
 in SciVal.\n	Compare researchers\, institutions or topics using SciVal 
 workflows.\n	Interpret collaboration and performance patterns.\n	Strengthen 
 comfort with core SciVal functions through guided tasks.\n\n\nMust be a 
 Waterloo student\, staff or faculty member to attend. This session is best 
 for those who have a basic familiarity with SciVal. Please bring a laptop 
 to participate in the activities. \n\nThis in-person workshop has limited 
 capacity\; please register to reserve your seat. If you have accommodation
