From Idea to Impact: Understanding Markets and Consumers Online

Curious about your potential customers or target audience? In this second workshop of the From Idea to Impact series, you'll learn how to use Library tools and openly available sources to research markets and understand customer needs. Whether you're launching a startup, planning a co-op project, or exploring research opportunities, this session will help you make informed, evidence-based decisions grounded in real-world insights.

This workshop will consist of 50 minutes of instruction and 10 minutes of Q&A. Presentation materials will be available to registrants after the workshop.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
•    Use Statista to find consumer-based surveys
•    Use Statistics Canada to explore Canadian census data
•    Learn about resources through the Library and on campus that can help you conduct your own market research
