Zotero is our friend, and it can be your friend too In-Person

Zotero is citation management software that takes (most of) the pain of writing papers with citations. In this hands-on session, we will provide an overview of the software and help participants develop a level of familiarity with it so that they can begin working on their academic projects more efficiently.

By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Import citations into their Zotero database
  • Add citations into a Word or Google Doc.
  • Do basic troubleshooting for Zotero challenges.
  • Cite their material in a variety of citation styles.

Must be a Waterloo student, staff or faculty member to attend. Please register and download the desktop version of Zotero and the browser connector prior to the workshop and bring a laptop to participate in the activities.

This in-person workshop has limited capacity; please register to reserve your seat. If you have accommodation requests or questions, reach out to libevents@uwaterloo.ca with your needs.

Registration has closed.
