Homecoming: Inside the Archives In-Person
Curious about Special Collections & Archives? Join us for a behind-the-scenes introduction to discover what an archive is, what we collect here at Waterloo, and how these materials support teaching, learning, and research for today’s students. You will also learn how these invaluable resources are made increasingly accessible through online platforms and how to access collections, both digitally and in-person, for your own research or personal interests.
The workshop concludes with a guided tour of the stacks, with special stops along the way to view rare and unique items and uncover memorable stories from our campus history. Meet fellow alumni at the iconic Dana Porter Library and enjoy a fun visit to the archives that is sure to spark conversation and connection.
