IEEE Lunch and Learn: How AI is Reshaping the Future of Publishing In-Person

Join the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) for a presentation on the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the publishing industry.

As AI technologies rapidly advance, they are redefining how content is created, edited, translated and distributed. Whether you are an author or an editor, understanding these changes is vital to navigating the future of our field.

Discussion topics:

  • Content Generation & Curation: How AI tools assist in draft creation, research and manuscript evaluation.
  • Editing & Localization: Streamlining copyediting, proofreading and multilingual translations.
  • Ethics & Copyright: Navigating intellectual property rights, fair use and transparency in AI-assisted work.

Discover how to leverage these technological shifts to stay competitive while preserving the essential human creativity at the heart of publishing.
